“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” — 3 John 1:2

There are words in Scripture that are so familiar we stop hearing them.

Beloved is one of those words.

We read it. We sing it. We say it. Yet so many of us spend our lives wondering if we truly are.

We wonder after a diagnosis.
After betrayal.
After trauma.
After divorce.
After losing someone we love.
After our plans fall apart.
After we’ve failed again.

Somewhere along the way, many of us begin believing that God’s love depends on how well we’re doing.

But Scripture begins somewhere very different.

Before John prays that his friend would prosper…
Before he prays for health…
Before he speaks of anything the man should do…

He calls him Beloved.

Not because he had earned it.

Not because his circumstances proved it.

Simply because that is who he was.

That one word changes everything.

Loved Before We Become

Our world teaches us to earn love.

Perform well.
Look better.
Work harder.
Be more productive.
Hide your weaknesses.
Keep everyone happy.

Then maybe you’ll be enough.

Jesus tells a different story.

He doesn’t wait until we have everything together before calling us His own.

He loved us while we were still sinners.

He welcomed the weary.

He touched the untouchable.

He defended the forgotten.

He called ordinary people to extraordinary lives simply because they were willing to follow Him.

His love has never been based on our performance.

It has always flowed from His heart.

Why “BeLoved Fully”?

The name BeLoved Fully carries two invitations.

The first is to remember that you are deeply loved by God.

Not partially.

Not conditionally.

Not only on your good days.

You are fully known and fully loved.

The second invitation is to live from that love.

When we know we are loved, we stop striving to prove our worth.

We can begin healing.

We can forgive.

We can grieve honestly.

We can set healthy boundaries.

We can serve without trying to earn God’s approval.

We can love others because we have first been loved.

Being loved by God isn’t the finish line.

It’s the starting place.

Soul Prosperity Comes First

The verse that anchors this ministry is often quoted for physical health or financial blessing.

Those things matter to God.

But notice the order.

John prays that every part of life would prosper as the soul prospers.

A flourishing soul changes everything.

A soul rooted in Christ can find peace in uncertainty.

Hope in suffering.

Joy in ordinary moments.

Strength in weakness.

Purpose after loss.

The circumstances may not change overnight.

But the soul begins to breathe again.

This Is a Place for Real People

BeLoved Fully isn’t about pretending life is easy.

It isn’t about putting Bible verses over pain and calling everything fine.

It’s about bringing every part of ourselves into the presence of Jesus.

The grieving parts.

The joyful parts.

The angry parts.

The hopeful parts.

The exhausted parts.

The parts we’re still trying to understand.

Nothing surprises Him.

Nothing disqualifies us from His love.

Here, we believe healing often happens slowly.

Sometimes through prayer.

Sometimes through wise counseling.

Sometimes through community.

Sometimes one faithful step at a time.

Wherever you are, Jesus meets you there.

My Prayer for You

If this is your first visit, my prayer is simple.

I pray you stop measuring yourself by your productivity, your diagnosis, your past, your parenting, your failures, or the expectations of others.

I pray you begin measuring your life by one unchanging truth:

You are God’s beloved.

From that place, may your soul prosper.

May your heart find rest.

May your relationships become healthier.

May your body receive grace.

May your faith grow deeper.

May your life become a reflection of the love you’ve already received.

Because that is what it means to BeLoved Fully.

Not to become worthy of God’s love—

but to live every day as someone who already is.

A Prayer

Father,

Thank You for calling me “Beloved” before I have done anything to earn that name. Help me receive Your love instead of striving for it. Heal the places where fear, shame, or disappointment have convinced me that I am anything less than Your beloved child.

Prosper my soul as I draw near to You. Teach me to rest in Your presence, trust Your goodness, and love others from the abundance of the love You have poured into me.

May my life point people not to my strength, but to Your faithfulness.
